A daughter of Khorfakkan, Esra Alhosani is a Scientific Diver at SMSRC, with a supporting role in Communications and Outreach. Her role bridges marine field operations, science communication and community engagement, reflecting her strong connection to Khorfakkan’s shores, marine heritage and local community.
With a Master degree in project management, Bachelor degree in web design and development, Esra combines scientific field experience with strategic communication and visual storytelling. She contributes to strengthening SMSRC’s brand identity, digital presence and public engagement, while supporting Ocean Literacy and helping translate marine science into clear, meaningful and engaging stories.
Her work reflects a multidisciplinary approach that connects research, creativity and community enhancing the visibility of SMSRC’s science and strengthening its relationship with students, families, governments and local partners.
